I offer a variety of tutoring sessions, particularly in the areas of:

  • Writing
  • Reading
  • Math

I bring to the sessions 27 years of tailoring my tutoring to the learning style of my students. I specialize in teaching the visual learner how to get there rapid fire, visual 3 dimensional minds, to translate their images into the right words. I can easily re-mediate reading issues, spelling issues, and math computational problems. I have worked with over 2000 students in the past 27 years of 1 on 1 tutoring, and employ strategies that no one else I know is currently using.

My educational therapy consists of quickly analyzing a persons processing style, and then to first elucidate to the individual that I am working with, exactly how their mind works. We, then together, relate their style to all learning issues, including auditory processing, sequencing, and all educational pursuits. The student will then be able to use their learning style to cover most of their educational weaknesses. I do not directly re-mediate in the traditional way, which is a direct frontal approach on the problem; instead I believe that most people with learning issues are primarily right hemispheric learners, and have within them the ability to accomplish much of what a left brained school system requires. In short, I work with a dominant hemisphere, and develop its innate strengths to accomplish most of what demands school and other life challenges may arise. I have a track record, which is replete with successes, and virtually every student I have ever worked with has gained tremendously from my expertise.

I offer a complete staff-training workshop, which can range from 1-1/2 hours to a full day. I have presented before numerous staffs all over the US, Canada, and even Asia and South America. My workshops are noteworthy because of the hands on, quick nature of my techniques.

I first present your staff with an overview of how visual learners differ in so many ways from their left brained counterparts. These subtle differences are not universally known amongst most professional educators, and are tremendously helpful in truly understanding how the visual learner thinks, views the world, and most importantly, can be taught through their areas on strengths, rather than hammering at their weaknesses. I then instruct educators on how to teach the basics, to this rapidly emerging, soon to be a majority, of students. In a typical 3-hour workshop, I will provide the staff with handouts of my PowerPoint, and integrate them into my lessons. I absolutely guarantee that your staff will leave these sessions with a working knowledge of, and techniques that work immediately with their students.

My workshop will unquestionably raise children’s test scores, as well as abort, most issues centering around learning disabilities.

I offer a variety of speaking options for parent groups, educators, and school administrators. They usually range from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. I am dynamic speaker, who has lived this topic all of my life.  As my work has spanned over 30 years, most of which has been 1 on 1 tutoring, and numerous presentations to teachers, I will pepper my talks with real life examples and anecdotal stories of issues which have confronted my thousands of students, and offer easy hands on techniques, which will revolutionize how teachers and parents will view their right brained students. As this population of visual learners, quickly becomes the norm in education, I will offer a refreshing view of how they must be taught differently, and reveal techniques, which both parents and educators can use immediately to turn around their child’s performance in school, and in other aspects of their lives.
